Circle Drive Saskatoon Accident Today on April 19 Left One Injured

A serious vehicle accident on Circle Drive just past College Drive has left one person critically injured and brought traffic to a standstill in Saskatoon on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after the crash occurred. Witnesses described a chilling scene, with one individual found unresponsive and partially hanging out of a shattered car door.

“Seen a bad accident on Circle and just after College Drive. That guy was not moving and hanging out his broken door. Lots of emergency vehicles,” said a passerby on social media. “Friends and family please remember nothing is that important to be in a rush. I’ll never be able to erase this image.”

Saskatoon Police, paramedics, and fire crews responded in large numbers, closing multiple lanes on Circle Drive westbound between 8th Street and Preston Crossing. Traffic was backed up for kilometers, and drivers were urged to avoid the area and find alternate routes, especially those headed toward Attridge Drive.
